Give a Groundwork Share A Share in a loved one’s honor and help a neighbor in need!
Thanks to generous donations by you (CSA members) to the Groundwork Share-A-Share™ fund, we were able to subsidize the cost of shares in 2014 for over thirty individuals and families, as well as shares for local food pantries.

We’d love to be able to subsidize late fall shares as well. Please consider helping us in our efforts to make the CSA accessible to more families by donating to Groundwork Share-A-Share.


Meats and Poultry

Lilac Hedge Farm:

You can order your holiday roast online and pick it up at the market on December 21!  Click HERE for the holiday roast order page. Deadline to order holiday roasts is Thursday 12/18. You can also order all the regular cuts of meat via the note section on the holiday roast order form.

Along with all the usual cuts, this month you can get ground turkey, turkey breasts, turkey drumsticks, turkey wings and Lilac Hedge’s new Sweet Turkey Sausage.


Beverages

Down East Cider

Cranberry and Original hard ciders can be pre-ordered by emailing debbie@downeastcider.com by end of day Friday 12/19.

AND, the first 10 people who make a Down East cider purchase on 12/21 will receive a free coupon for a Mason Jar drinking glass, a growler deposit waiver (a growler is a 64oz glass bottle we fill from the tap in the cidery) along with a tour and tasting at their facility in Charlestown MA.


Cheesecake

 7ate9 Bakery:

We have just released our new Peppermint Cheesecake in time for the holidays. We would love if you could mention it through your various channels and also encourage pick up at the market for holiday orders. Customer can order anything on our website and there is a button at the checkout page where they can indicate they are picking up at the market. Also, our Mini Cheesecakes and our 4” Cheesecakes make great host gifts if traveling.

Our Peppermint Cheesecake comes topped with our dark chocolate ganache made with Taza Chocolate which perfectly balances the acuteness of the peppermint. The delicate crunch of crushed peppermint candy forms a delightful contrast with the creaminess of the filling. This one is only the second cake to be named Chef’s Favorite in the history of our business!

Customers can order online from our website until 5:00pm on Friday December 19, and we will have their order ready for pick up at the market on Sunday December 21. My herbal pillows or herbal eye pillows would make a lovely hostess gift. I recommend lavender and peppermint for headaches and stress relief. Also my best sellers are my catnip toys, 2 for 5 dollars. Order in advance to assure you get just what you want.

Kittredge Candles will be at the market on Sunday with candles, soaps, lotions, lip balms and perfumes.  With over 100 different fragrances, there is something for everyone.  Come pick up your Christmas favorites like Fraser Fir, Gingerbread, Egg Nog or Winter in New England or pick from one of our growing list of “Weird” fragrances like Bacon, Beer, Dirt, Fenway Park Outfield, Popcorn, Peanut Butter and even new Buttery Mashed Potato!

We will have LOTS of stocking stuffers available, including 48 flavors of lip balms!

Not sure what to get?  It can be hard to pick out just the right fragrance for someone else. So we also have gift certificates for all those fragrance-loving folks on your gift list.
