Tomato Festival and The BIGGEST Tomato Contest

Start planning your tomato gardens and join us for the Tomato Festival at Wakefield Farmers Market! Don't miss out on the excitement of our BIGGEST Tomato Contest, where growers of all ages can showcase their prized tomatoes and compete for top honors.

Contest Details:

Location: Tomato Festival Tent 

Time: Entries accepted from 9:00am to 9:45am. Winners announced at 10:00am.

• Elementary School Students
• Youth (Grades 7-12)
• Adults (18+)

Contest Rules:

1. You must have grown the tomato.
2. Tomatoes may be heirloom or hybrid, but must be edible.
3. The largest tomato will be judged by weight as determined by the judges.
4. The variety of each tomato must be identified on the entry form with contact information.
5. All tomatoes must be washed and clean.
6. Tomatoes will be weighed by 10:00am, and then the winners and all entries will be displayed with your name at The Biggest Tomato at Market Tent in the middle of the Market.
7. The decision of the judges is final.
