Countdown to Opening Day: 10 Days ‘Til We’re Back at the Market! 🎉

We can hardly believe it — Opening Day at the Wakefield Farmers Market is just 10 days away! Our team is buzzing with excitement as we prepare to welcome you back to Hall Park on Saturday, June 14, where we’ll be every Saturday through October 25, from 9 AM to 1 PM.

While you may be dreaming of berries, live music, and your favorite artisan snacks, the road to Opening Day starts months in advance. Behind the scenes, we're reviewing vendor applications, coordinating with musicians, mapping the layout, wrangling permits, and crafting an experience we hope you’ll love.

It’s not just us putting in the work — our vendors have been growing, creating, prepping, and perfecting all winter long. For many small businesses, summer farmers markets are the heartbeat of their year — not only for their income, but for the dreams and families those businesses support.

Why Shopping Small Matters

Supporting local isn’t just trendy — it’s transformative. Every dollar spent at the market helps someone live their dream, fuels your local economy, and often gets you a product made with more care and craftsmanship than you’ll find anywhere else.

While we’ve previously highlighted our farmers, fishers, egg and meat vendors, this week we want to shine the spotlight on some of the incredible artisan makers you’ll meet this season.

These are just a few of the talented artisan vendors joining us this summer. You’ll also find handmade soaps, locally designed jewelry, hand-sewn clothing, and so much more. Opening Day is Saturday, June 14, from 9 AM to 1 PM at Hall Park (468 North Avenue, Wakefield, MA), and we’ll be there every Saturday through October 25.

We can’t wait to welcome back our amazing returning vendors and introduce you to some exciting new additions. Be sure to stay connected through our website and social media channels for updates, vendor spotlights, and weekly entertainment lineups.
