Market Day July 24
The Wakefield Farmers Market is expecting a jam-packed market day, Saturday, July 24 from 9am to 1pm, 468 North Ave/Hall Park. The forecast looks like it’s going to be a corker of a day, so head on down and see what we’ve got planned for the day, plus the freshest produce, best specialty foods, and beautiful handmade goods.
Kayla Russell will be here with her creative Henna designs. The Magic of Yarrow and his awesome balloon sculpture.
As always, have hula hoops, sidewalk chalk, and jump ropes on hand for kids of all ages. Thanks to the Wakefield Co-operative Bank for sponsoring our kids events this year.
Save the Date: Join us August 14 at 11am for a demonstration from Curious Creatures.
I wear many volunteer hats in the Wakefield art community and I’m so pleased to welcome my fellow artists from the Arts Collaborative of Wakefield. They will be here sharing information about being part of their next exhibit, SQUARES at the Albion Cultural Exchange in October. Stop by their table and meet a few of the artists, and see how you can be part of this fantastic visual art community.
Stop by the Market Manager tent, show you support for the market, and place your order for your very own Wakefield Farmers Market tee! A $25 donation gets you one of our awesome new 100% cotton tees that you can wear proudly, and fashionably too!
