Fall is in the air, and this Saturday, September 28, promises to be a beautiful day to visit the Wakefield Farmers Market! Join us from 9 AM to 1 PM at Hall Park on Lake Quannapowitt, 468 North Avenue, Wakefield, MA, for fresh local produce, delicious treats, and artisan goods. With clear skies and crisp autumn air in the forecast, it’s the perfect time to explore all that the market has to offer.
We believe that fresh, healthy food should be accessible to everyone. That’s why we proudly offer a SNAP Match Program! For every SNAP purchase, we will match up to $15 per visit, thanks to the generous support of our Match Sponsor, The Wakefield Food Pantry. This program has added an additional $10,000 in fresh produce, fish, eggs, and meat onto the plates of our neighbors experiencing food insecurity. Come by and take advantage of this wonderful opportunity to support local farmers while ensuring fresh food for all!
