There's no better time to celebrate the people who grow our food than National Farmers Market Week! This annual celebration recognizes the important role farmers markets play in supporting local agriculture, strengthening communities, and making fresh, seasonal food more accessible. This year's celebration takes place August 2–8.
Here at the Wakefield Farmers Market, we couldn't be more grateful for the incredible community that shows up week after week. Whether you're visiting for just a loaf of bread or filling your bags with produce, flowers, seafood, cheese, pasta, baked goods, and handcrafted products, every purchase you make has a ripple effect throughout our local economy.
