Happy Thanksgiving, Wakefield!
In the spirit of gratitude, we want to extend a heartfelt thank you to everyone who came out in the rain this past Saturday for our Thanksgiving Market. We are still smiling from the amazing turnout—seeing familiar faces, sharing hugs, and watching market totes fill to the brim brought us so much joy. Happy Thanksgiving from all of us at the Wakefield Farmers Market!
Stuff A Bronco: A Community Effort of Giving
We are also incredibly grateful for the overwhelming support of our Stuff A Bronco Food Drive for the Wakefield Food Pantry. Thanks to your generosity, we were able to donate over 30 cubic feet of fresh produce, canned goods, and other essentials. Your contributions will help ensure that many local families enjoy a bountiful and comforting Thanksgiving holiday.
Why This Donation Matters
This act of giving means so much to us because the Wakefield Food Pantry donates to the market every spring, helping us fund our EBT/SNAP Match Program throughout the season. Being able to give back fills our hearts and strengthens our shared commitment to improving food access in our community.
No Market This Saturday—But You Can Still Shop Local
As Thanksgiving ushers in Black Friday, holiday music, leftover turkey sandwiches, and Small Business Saturday, we want to remind you that while we won’t be hosting a market this coming weekend, you can still show your support. Visit our Vendor Page to connect with your favorite farmers, makers, and small businesses. Stock up on pantry staples, visit their farmstands, begin your holiday shopping, and discover new local favorites.
Support Local, Support Community
Now more than ever, shopping local matters. Let’s continue uplifting our community and supporting the small businesses that make Wakefield special.
From all of us at the Wakefield Farmers Market, Happy Thanksgiving to you and your loved ones!
