Market Day August 7
Updated: Aug 5, 2021
The Wakefield Farmers Market celebrates the final day of National Farmers Market Week this Saturday, August 7 from 9am to 1pm, 468 North Ave/Hall Park. The forecast looks good and we’ve got a lot of great things on tap.
Over the past 13 years, WFM has grown into a community hub, small
business seedbed, and an economic driver for both our local community and small farms. We give local businesses a place to feature high quality food and an amazing choice of options from skilled farmers and food entrepreneurs. By shopping at the farmers market you are supporting the local economy and community members, including those who are experiencing food insecurity. Thank you to all of our WFM customers, for shopping local, for being loyal to all these wonderful farmers, small batch food producers, and making the market the wonderful community event it is, week after week.

Kayla Russell will be here with her creative Henna designs. The Magic of Yarrow and his awesome balloon sculpture.
As always, have hula hoops, sidewalk chalk, and jump ropes on hand for kids of all ages. Thanks to the Wakefield Co-operative Bank for sponsoring our kids events this year.
Save the Date: Join us August 14 at 11am for a demonstration from Curious Creatures.
Next week Audie Bridges joins us in The Savings Bank Music Tent!
