Step Right Up: Wakefield Farmers Market Presents a Summer of Fun!

As we gear up for our 15th anniversary season, the Wakefield Farmers Market is thrilled to unveil an exciting lineup of events and live music performances that will make this summer one to remember! Join us every Saturday from June 15 to October 26, 9 am to 1 pm, rain or shine, at Hall Park, 468 North Avenue, Wakefield, MA, to celebrate community, local farms, freshness, and fun.


June 15 - Our 15th Birthday Celebration We're kicking off the season with a bang as we celebrate 15 years of bringing fresh, local produce to the community. Join us for a day filled with live music, delicious treats, and special surprises as we commemorate this milestone.


June 22 - Strawberry Festival Indulge in the sweetness of summer with our Strawberry Festival. Sample juicy strawberries, enjoy strawberry-themed treats, and discover the versatility of this beloved fruit with cooking demonstrations and recipe ideas.


July 13 - The Dog Days of Summer - Celebrating the Market Dog We're rolling out the red carpet for our furry friends as we celebrate the Dog Days of Summer. Bring your canine companions along for a day full of fun activities, dog-friendly treats, and special giveaways. Don't miss our doggy "fashion show" for a chance to show off your pup's style - stay tuned for more information.


July 20 - Curious Creatures Visit Prepare to be amazed as Curious Creatures makes a special appearance at the market. Get up close and personal with fascinating animals, learn about wildlife conservation, and discover the wonders of the natural world.


August 10 - Last Day of National Farmers Market Week and Healthy Living Expo Join us as we wrap up National Farmers Market Week with a bang! Explore a variety of healthy living resources at Wakefield Chamber of Commerce's Healthy Living Expo, featuring wellness workshops, fitness demonstrations, and interactive activities for the whole family.


September 7 - Tomato Festival It's all about the tomato at our Tomato Festival! Sink your teeth into ripe, juicy tomatoes, and participate in our BIGGEST tomato-growing contest for a chance to win.


October 5 - Fall Harvest As the leaves begin to change, we're celebrating the bounty of the season with our Fall Harvest event. Stock up on pumpkins, apples, and other autumnal delights, enjoy live music, and take part in fun fall-themed activities for the whole family.


October 26 - Haunted Happenings - Celebrate Halloween Get into the Halloween spirit with our Haunted Happenings event. Dress up in your spookiest costume and join us for a day of trick-or-treating, and eerie entertainment. Don't miss our costume contest for a chance to win wickedly good prizes!
