Wakefield Farmers Market Continues to Grow: Community, Gratitude & This Week's Lineup

Another Beautiful Day at Market
Another Beautiful Day at Market

Wednesday is our chance to slow down for just a moment and reflect on the previous week's market. It's a time to think about the conversations we've had with vendors, shoppers, volunteers, and our Board of Directors—and, most importantly, to appreciate the incredible community that continues to make this market so special.

Just when we think the market couldn't possibly get any busier, you prove us wrong! Every week brings new faces, returning customers, thoughtful suggestions, and an overwhelming amount of support. We're doing our best to keep up with it all while continuing to make improvements.

One of those improvements has been working with the Town of Wakefield to add more trash receptacles throughout Hall Park and address some of the uneven areas on the grounds. A huge thank you to Dennis and his team at the Parks Department for their continued support and hard work.

Thank You for Helping Us Earn This Recognition

We also have some exciting news to celebrate!

A heartfelt thank you goes to Lucas Greer and Taking the Kids for recently featuring the Wakefield Farmers Market in their article, "9 Beloved Farmers Markets in Massachusetts That Locals Say Are Worth Waking Up Early For."

Being recognized alongside so many wonderful markets throughout Massachusetts is an incredible honor, and it's only possible because of the amazing people who make this market what it is.

Thank you to our loyal shoppers, hardworking vendors, talented musicians, performers, volunteers, the Town of Wakefield, our sponsors, and everyone who continues to support local agriculture and small businesses. This recognition belongs to all of you.

This Week's New Vendors & Special Guests

Now that we've finished celebrating... it's time to get down to business! We're excited to welcome a few new faces to the market this Saturday.

Coco Belly, come give them a warm Wakefield Welcome!

Coco Belly

Bringing the bold flavors of Jamaica to Wakefield, Coco Belly serves authentic Jamaican patties—golden, flaky pastries traditionally filled with seasoned beef and infused with the warm flavors of curry and turmeric. Their menu also includes delicious varieties like curry chicken, ackee, and even lobster. We highly recommend visiting their website and placing a preorder for market pickup!

Rockland Trust

Please help us welcome one of our newest market sponsors! Rockland Trust will be joining us at the market this week, so stop by their table to say hello, learn more about their community programs, and meet the team. We're also excited that Rockland Trust will be sponsoring our Curious Creatures educational booth later this season.

Arts & Cats

Created by a talented Wakefield teen, Arts & Cats features handmade crochet creations including novelty plushies, hats, scrunchies, bags, seasonal décor, tablescapes, and more. Every piece is handcrafted with creativity and care.

BeU by Rumi

Discover beautiful handmade jewelry featuring beaded designs, silver wire work, and leather pieces, all carefully crafted by local artisan Rumi.

See You Saturday!

It's shaping up to be another full, fun-filled market, and we can't wait to see everyone.

Bring your market tote, grab a coffee, enjoy live music, stock up on fresh local food, and take a little time to chat with your neighbors. While you're here, don't forget to stop by the market tent and say hello—we always love hearing from you.

We'll see you Saturday from 9 AM to 1 PM!
