Celebrate the Strawberry Festival at Wakefield Farmers Market!

Get ready for a berry good time at the Wakefield Farmers Market's annual Strawberry Festival this Saturday, June 22, from 9 am to 1 pm! Join us at 468 North Avenue for a delightful day filled with fresh produce, specialty foods, artisanal crafts, and live entertainment, all by the beautiful Lake Quannapowitt. This year’s festival features an array of farms, small-batch producers, and local artisans, making it a must-visit event for the whole family.


Fresh Produce and Specialty Foods


Our festival will showcase a variety of fresh produce from local farms, including:

  • Farmer Dave’s: Offering freshly harvested strawberries and various fruits and vegetables. Farmer Dave’s is a HIP-approved vendor.

  • Hippie Harvest: Microgreens to add a nutritious boost to your meals.

  • Kelly’s Farm: Another great source for the freshest strawberries and other produce.

  • Moonlight Farm: HIP-approved vendor with pesticide-free vegetables.

  • New Hampshire Mushroom Company: Fresh and foraged mushrooms, tinctures, and more.


Meat, Fish, and Cheese

  • Boston Smoked Fish Company: Delicious smoked fish products.

  • Life. Love. Cheese: Artisan cheeses are perfect for pairing with your strawberries.

  • Lilac Hedge Farm: Local, sustainably raised meats, poultry, and eggs.

    • Falling Up (11.5%, still): Strawberry, apple, hibiscus.

Try the incredible strawberry ice cream from DecorScoops Ice Cream and the special strawberry scones from Purple Carrot Bread Company.


The market offers SNAP/EBT and will match SNAP purchases up to $15 per visit, so everyone can afford fresh and healthy foods at our market. We could not provide this SNAP Match or its increase from $10, without the generous sponsorship of The Wakefield Food Pantry. Good news for SNAP folks: HIP is back! Use your EBT card to shop with Farmer Dave’s or Moonlight Farm first, then get your additional SNAP bucks and match at the Market Manager Tent.
