The WFM has brought local and healthy food to our community since 2009.
In 2012, we instituted a SNAP match program to provide some relief to food insecurity. Our program allows individuals and families, using the SNAP food assistance program, to receive a $10 match to their purchase. This increases their buying power at WFM and generates additional sales for our local farmers and vendors.
The number of children, adults, and elderly experiencing food insecurity in our community continues to grow. As their need grows, funding this program becomes more difficult and, at this time, we are fearful of it will not last the season.
100% of your donation will directly fund the WFM SNAP match program. This will help provide healthy foods for our community members dealing with food insecurity.
